Claims Consulting

Project margins can be razor thin due to the competitive pricing nature of the construction industry, and our attorneys work closely with the project team to understand the client’s business, strategies, and overall goals to avoid disputes in a cost-effective manner.
Our attorneys work closely with clients to minimize risks inherent in the construction industry. We regularly advise clients on claim development, prosecution, and consultation to reduce risks associated with formal dispute resolution.
Our attorneys have served as “Project Counsel” on numerous occasions to assist clients in identifying risks early in project execution, working with clients to prepare claim narratives, properly documenting claims to strengthen negotiation positions, and working directly with the client to prepare robust claims to resolve disputes without resorting to formal dispute resolution. If a formal dispute cannot be avoided, we have found that our Project Counsel services pay dividends in the event a dispute arises as our early involvement results in further claim development prior to engaging in a formal dispute. Project Counsel services are designed to expedite the learning curve if a formal dispute arises, and clients are well positioned to prosecute successful claims developed by a seasoned construction lawyer.
